The Emerald has always been our favourite restaurant when we lived in Papakura, one which we (my daughter and I) would frequent often (and get take out too). Since moving away, we have not found a restaurant quite like this quaint little gem. So, when passing through we just had to go back and it never fails to impress – from quality, calming soft-spoken service, to magnificent food (always our compliments to the chef/s) and the ambience is special – more of a feeling one gets I would say. The prices are amazing too. So all you foodies out there – go there PLEASE – you will not be disappointed; but rest assured, you will leave satisfied and wanting to go back for more.

Presentation is great, the portions are very generous, I couldn’t even finish mine, but forced in a dessert equally great value for money. I highly recommend the Emerald Thai Restaurant, it’s a little Gem I’m glad I and the other 5 people in my party experienced, now I have another great place close to home to dine at.
